Cancer – You are NEVER alone.

There are many resources to help you fight cancer.  One of the amazing organizations is the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.  This organization is a great source of support that provides access to programs and services state by state.  Many of your questions can be answered on their website.

American Cancer Society also has direct support available 24/7 to answer your questions, share information, provide emotional support, and help care givers as well as cancer patients. (1-800-227-2345) When you can’t sleep at 2:48 am and have a question, you can just give them a call and someone will always be there.  They can help you get a free ride to your treatment, find lodging for you if you have to travel out of town for your appointments and provide information on many other services. 

I am very grateful for the resources that the American Cancer Society has provided during the many years that I have been fighting this awful disease, and hope that you as a patient or as a caregiver utilize the many resources that they have available.
